My First MDS layout

Once I had downloaded MDS the next thing to do was to learn about it.  Having used Photoshop Elements before to do digital scrapbooking a lot of the things on MDS were very easy to pick up.  Stampin' Up! do provide wonderful video tutorials on how to use different aspects of MDS as well.

 I had earned a hostess content disc called Days to Remember so I slipped that into the computer & created this layout.
This is one of the templates provided on the content disc.  I just had to move my photos into the photo spots & it could have been finished right there. The longest part was choosing which photos to use & once I had worked that out it only took 5 minutes to create.

That wasn't enough so I had a play & inserted the journalling label & put some journalling on it.  I found that I had taffeta ribbon, bakers twine and tape that I could use, so I used some tape that I recoloured to make it co-ordinate with the layout a bit more.  I also found that I could have stitching or even staples around the edges of the photos, so I used some staples as well.
